The Bradford Rainbow Club is a Peer Support Group for LGBTQ+ People seeking asylum residing within and around West Yorkshire.
Group sessions are held every Tuesday from 11:00am-1pm at the Equity Centre.
Due to COVID-19 sessions are currently held via video every Tuesday from 11:00am-1pm.
Activities within the Group are based around confidence building with the aim of empowering each individual as a person from the LGBTQ+ Community.
Activities range from:
Collaborations with other LGBTQ+ and non LGBTQ+ Community/ Charity Organisations for projects.
Integrating within the Community as an LGBTQ+ Group.
Regular Group interviews on Migration Matters Radio at BCB Radio Station in Bradford.
Engaging with Guests invited for specialist sessions.
All activities are performed by the Group as a Group.
Asylum Claim Documentation must be provided so that each member receives the appropriate support required.
Referrals to Legal Representatives:
The Bradford Rainbow Club’s policy: Group members must have Legal Representation as we do NOT offer Legal Advice. We can make referrals.
Members are encouraged to engage in all activities and regular attendance is required. Members must arrive on time for every session as time keeping is paramount.
